This first activity consists of the development of a non-formal training course aimed at supporting beneficiaries (people far from the labour market, in conditions of physical, social, economic and cultural vulnerability) in the development of life skills and transversal competences for work.
COURSES
The Social Tailoring project is a transformative initiative designed to address the pressing need for comprehensive support systems that help individuals facing social disadvantages, risk of absolute poverty, disabilities, and social exclusion. By creating structured training and mentoring pathways, this project aims to foster social inclusion, provide job-related training, and facilitate labor market integration through experiential learning that cultivates both job-related and life skills.
Course Content
The course was structured around the following key themes:
- Understanding motivation.
- Setting meaningful goals.
- Developing resilience and overcoming obstacles.
- How to maintain motivation in the long-term.
The Social Tailoring Non-Formal Training and Coaching programme has exceeded expectations in its ability to empower, educate, and inspire participants across all four partner countries. The combination of high quantitative scores and rich qualitative feedback paints a picture of a project that has made a significant, positive impact on the lives of its participants, setting them on a path towards greater social inclusion and personal fulfilment.
